YMG St. Louis Airport Site Visit

Join #asceSTLymg for an exclusive behind-the-scenes engineering tour at St. Louis Lambert International Airport! This is a unique opportunity to see the engineering system of one of the region’s most critical infrastructure systems.

Airport access is security-controlled. Attendees must remain with the group at all times and follow all instructions from airport staff. The visit will begin with a 30-min presentation from the airport engineering team highlighting upcoming capital projects and ongoing airfield improvements. Following the presentation, attendees will board a bus for a guided airside tour including:

• Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 areas

• Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower vicinity

• General aviation and cargo operations

• Boeing campus areas

• Active runaway access

• Ongoing airside construction projects

Attendance capped at 25 attendees. Younger Members, Student Members, and Professionals are welcome!

Minimum requirements (all attendees)

• Government-issued photo ID

• Long pants and closed-toed shoes

Optional Airside Construction Area Walk-Through

The contractor performing airside construction work has offered the opportunity for attendees to briefly exit the bus and observe active airfield construction. Attendees who wish to access the construction area must bring the following PPE:

• Hard hat

• Safety vest

• Safety Glasses

• Leather work (or safety-toe boots)

If obtaining PPE is an issue, please leave a note during registration and we'll coordinate options with you!
