Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead

strategic growth initiatives across key markets. This role is critical to expanding EDM’s client

base, increasing revenue, and positioning the firm for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development strategy targeting regional architects, government agencies, healthcare, industrial, and entertainment sectors.

• Develop and execute multi-market annual business plans with defined fee goals.

• Cultivate new client relationships and strengthen existing ones across design and construction firms.

• Coordinate teaming strategies and project pursuit efforts.

• Oversee RFQ/SOQ submissions and conference participation.

• Collaborate with marketing to refine promotional materials and digital presence.

• Drive lead generation and market intelligence efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales and revenue generation within the AEC industry.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or sales.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
